The Put In
October 21, 2011
Tomorrow is opening day of the general deer and elk hunting season. Although I long ago laid down my rifle and picked up a camera, I still enjoy the tradition of hunting with the family. The chill of an early morning made more comfortable thanks to hot coffee. A stealth-like hike up the mountain led by the anticipation of the day. Waiting for the twilight of morning to reveal an incredible panorama view. The thrill of an honest hunt, followed by tall tales around the campfire at night.
Anyway, here's a simple click of the view near our campsite this year, taken with my iPhone.
