Just a simple click while recently enjoying the outdoors with my buddy James Duncan Davidson.

I love using the sky as a background, but it's pretty boring unless you have some cloud action. Clouds make photographers happy. They meet you in the middle. You set up the shot with a foreground, then simply wait until the clouds fill in your background. The big, puffy kind can create a lot of drama in an image. But sometimes it's the small, wispy kind you need to balance out your image. The best part is all you have to do is be patient as the backdrop rolls by, then go "click". Even better when you spend the time with a friend.
