September 15, 2010

iOS 4 introduces one new feature that will fundamentally change the way you program in general: blocks. If you're coming from a programming language such as Ruby, then you know the power of blocks. If you're new to blocks, or you want to better understand how to use blocks in Objective-C, check out this two-part series on blocks I just published on The Pragmatic Studio blog:

We also just announced that our last Studios of the year will take place in Denver, CO the week of December 6th. So if you're looking for hands-on Rails 3 or iOS 4 training, we hope you'll join us. It's always a lot of fun, and perhaps you can tack on a couple days to hit the slopes. Plus we'll make sure you get the most up-to-date and authoritative developer training around. You'll start 2011 ready to create your first iPhone or Rails app, or improve your existing apps!
