James on Rails Deployment

You've coded up your first killer Rails app. It came together in record time. You don't recall programming ever being this fun. Perhaps you'll top it off with an early vacation. Ah, but don't forget: You still need to deploy it onto a production server! Take the high road and you could be on the beach by the afternoon. Take the low road and the closest you'll get to warm sand is that potted cactus under your office lamp.

Deploying your Rails app doesn't have to be difficult. Unfortunately, definitive deployment guides have been lacking. That is, until James put his shoulder to the wheel and started writing a great series of deployment recipes:
