The Book Your Computer Doesn't Want Published
...is well underway!
I'm honored and excited to be writing Pragmatic Project Automation, the 3rd volume in the Pragmatic Starter Kit. Writing this book is fun for me because automation is something I've always been passionate about. So this book is an opportunity to put this thing called a computer to work for us building, testing, and deploying our software.
I'm also really enjoying working with my publishers, Dave and Andy. I know I'm a little slow on the uptake given that the official announcement went out last week, but it's only because I'm having so much fun. Oh, and July is right around the corner...
Necessity being the mother of invention and all, folks have found all kinds of different ways to automate mind-numbing procedures on projects. I'm going to include a few stories from the field in the book to give readers a glimpse into the craftiness of other projects. So if you've found a way to make your life better through automation, I'd love to hear your story.
Of course, your computer might not want you to tell your stories. Loose lips sink chips. Indeed, you'll be putting other computers everywhere in jeopardy of working overtime.
